While traditional wedding cakes are white, tiered cakes with a bride and groom toy on the top, modern wedding cakes tend to look a lot different. The truth is, a modern wedding cake is not just a white multi-tiered wedding cake. It could literally be anything else, allowing people to use their imagination to make a wedding cake that represents them as a couple.

 

Wedding cakes could be cheesecake, or a series of small personalized cakes handed out to each guest at a party. As with many modern interpretations of things, a wedding cake is a symbol for the end of a celebration of a new marriage. So it’s really the impression, feeling or taste that happy new couple decides to leave you with.
